Learn the medieval and fixed-star astrology necessary to become adept in the practice of fertility astrology from the world’s top expert in the field.

In this course you will master the techniques related to fertility forecasting. Our textbook will be Nicola Smuts-Allsop’s groundbreaking Fertility Astrology. The author will join us as we explore and expand upon the material in her “modern medieval textbook.” Live discussions will include material not found elsewhere, and at the end of eight weeks, you should feel confident in being able to predict pregnancy, and barriers to it, with precision.

About the Instructors

Nicola Smuts-Allsop, MA, is a consulting astrologer living in the United Kingdom. Originally from South Africa, she completed her first studies at the Rod Suskin School of Astrology in Cape Town, and completed a Diploma in Medieval Astrology with Astro Logos in the UK. Nicola recently graduated from Canterbury Christ Church University, with an MA in Myth, Cosmology, and the Sacred. Author of Fertility Astrology: A Modern Medieval Textbook (Wessex Astrologer), Nicola lectures internationally on her fertility work and her research and methods in this field are pioneering and unique. Her success in diagnosing fertility issues in charts and finding potentially fertile times to try In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and other reproductive treatments has been widely published in the popular press and featured on national television in South Africa. Nicola has also developed an app that enables people to easily access her complex astrology to establish potentially fertile times for the year ahead to conceive.

Dr. Jennifer Zahrt writes about the history, philosophy and epistemology of astrology, with a special focus on the German cultural realm. Her doctoral thesis, titled The Astrological Imaginary in Early Twentieth Century Germany (University of California, Berkeley, 2012), concerns the ways in which astrology shaped philosophy, literature and the arts during the Weimar Republic.

Since 2007, Zahrt has worked as a professional editor. She is the Creative Director of Sophia Centre Press; and the Curator of Possibilities at Revelore Press, which she founded in 2017. Zahrt’s first book of poetry, Foil Holocrine, appeared in 2019. Learn more about Jenn at www.jennzahrt.com
